Middlesbrough | Full-time | QS up to £50k / SQS up to £65k

The Company
A growing civil engineering and groundworks contractor with a strong presence across the North East. Due to continued expansion and a strong pipeline of work, we are looking to appoint both a Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor to support our major civils schemes covering industrial, commercial, public sector and highways projects.

The Role
You will take ownership of the commercial management of allocated projects, working both from the office in Middlesbrough and on site. This is a key role within our team and offers genuine progression as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities
• Monthly commercial management of projects including valuations and CVR reporting
• Management of project costs and values
• Subcontractor procurement, placement and payment oversight
• Pricing variations and negotiating final accounts
• Ensuring contractual compliance across NEC and JCT contracts
• Working closely with operational teams to support successful project delivery

Requirements
• Experience working as a QS or SQS within civil engineering or groundworks
• Strong knowledge of NEC and JCT forms of contract
• Commercially focused with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Confident communicator who can build strong internal and external relationships

Package
• Quantity Surveyor up to £50,000
• Senior Quantity Surveyor up to £65,000
• Full-time office and site based
