Project Leader – Bridge Construction

About the Role
Our client is a leading engineering and construction company delivering major infrastructure projects across Germany. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Leader to oversee bridge construction projects in the Stuttgart or Karlsruhe region.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate bridge construction projects from planning through to completion

  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors on site

  • Ensure all work complies with technical standards, timelines, and cost targets

  • Liaise with clients, authorities, and internal departments throughout all project phases

  • Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and project documentation

  • Drive quality, safety, and environmental compliance on site

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in bridge or infrastructure projects

  • Strong knowledge of German construction standards (HOAI, VOB, etc.)

  • Proven leadership and communication skills

  • Fluent in German (C1 or above) and good English skills
