About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bridge Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Berlin. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified structural engineer with specific experience in bridge design and analysis. You will play a key role in delivering innovative and safe bridge solutions across various infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and analyze bridge structures in accordance with German and European codes and standards

  • Develop detailed structural calculations, technical reports, and design documentation

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil engineers, and project managers

  • Perform structural assessments of existing bridges and propose rehabilitation or strengthening solutions

  • Participate in site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases

  • Ensure all designs meet safety, sustainability, and budget requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

  • 3–5 years of professional experience focused on bridge design projects

  • Strong knowledge of German bridge design standards (e.g., DIN, Eurocode)

  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SOFiSTiK, RSTAB, or similar)

  • Fluent in German (spoken and written); English is a plus

  • Strong attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving skills
