About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and technically proficient Project Engineer to support our growing portfolio of infrastructure and mobility planning projects across urban and regional settings. Based in one of our offices in Berlin, Dresden, or Leipzig, you will contribute to the planning, coordination, and delivery of innovative mobility solutions and infrastructure development initiatives.
You’ll work on interdisciplinary teams to shape projects that promote sustainable transport, intelligent infrastructure, and urban development.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the planning and design of mobility and transport infrastructure (e.g. roadways, cycleways, public transport corridors, multimodal hubs).
Conduct technical and feasibility studies, site assessments, and stakeholder consultations.
Assist in the preparation of concept, design, and approval planning documents in accordance with HOAI and German planning guidelines.
Coordinate with external stakeholders, clients, and local authorities.
Support project management tasks including timeline tracking, cost estimation, and reporting.
Collaborate with environmental planners, traffic engineers, and urban designers to deliver integrated solutions.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, sustainability goals, and technical standards.
Your Profile:
Degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, Mobility Systems, or a related field.
3–5 years of professional experience in infrastructure or mobility planning.
Solid understanding of German standards and guidelines (e.g. VwV-StVO, RASt, EFA, HOAI).
Proficiency in planning tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, VISUM, or GIS.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks independently.
Fluency in German at a C1 level (spoken and written) is mandatory.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
