About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Bridge Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team in Berlin. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified structural engineer with specific experience in bridge design and analysis. You will play a key role in delivering innovative and safe bridge solutions across various infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze bridge structures in accordance with German and European codes and standards
Develop detailed structural calculations, technical reports, and design documentation
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, civil engineers, and project managers
Perform structural assessments of existing bridges and propose rehabilitation or strengthening solutions
Participate in site inspections and provide technical support during construction phases
Ensure all designs meet safety, sustainability, and budget requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
3–5 years of professional experience focused on bridge design projects
Strong knowledge of German bridge design standards (e.g., DIN, Eurocode)
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SOFiSTiK, RSTAB, or similar)
Fluent in German (spoken and written); English is a plus
Strong attention to detail, with excellent problem-solving skills
