About the Role:
An established engineering consultancy in Düsseldorf is looking for a Project Manager to lead projects in urban water management (Siedlungswasserwirtschaft). You’ll take responsibility for the design and delivery of water supply, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure, managing teams and liaising directly with municipal and private clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate projects in water supply, wastewater, and drainage systems

  • Manage HOAI service phases from planning through to execution

  • Prepare technical documentation, feasibility studies, and cost estimates

  • Ensure compliance with relevant German standards and regulations

  • Act as key contact for clients, authorities, and internal project teams

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with a focus on water management

  • 5–8 years’ experience in Siedlungswasserwirtschaft projects

  • Strong knowledge of HOAI, relevant DIN standards, and municipal guidelines

  • Proven experience in project leadership and client communication

  • Fluent in German (C1 level) with good English skills an advantage
